Recently, Resort World Casino in New York City officially announced a $5 billion proposal to extend its casino license in earnest, which will deliver one of its other various amenities, a concert hall and an entertainment center, to South East Queens. All of these form part of a leading effort to get one of three Downstate gaming licenses.

Increase the bid price:
The casino, which is adjacent to Aqueduct Race Track, plans to add 10,000 jobs to make its competition with New York more attractive when applications for licenses officially begin later this year. Upon obtaining one of its licenses, Lacino can offer table games like blackjack, baccarat, poker, and crab, in addition to existing video lottery terminal slots and other electronic betting games.

In addition to celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson and Queens native rapper Nas, the group introduced their plans at the casino with an event that included a long list of politicians involving state Senator Joseph Adabo Jr. and Borough President Donovan Richards.

Commenting on the expansion project, Senator Adabbo Jr., chairman of the Senate Racing, Gaming, and Wagering Committee, said: "The new resort world will completely change New York City for the better. Everything is located right here in Queens, including job creation, parks, and entertainment. This is not a pipe dream or a distant proposal. It is a tangible development with positive impact that cities and states should be able to witness as soon as possible."

In response, Nas, who mentioned his song "Queens Get the Money," said, "It's an honor to be here, to be here with Resort World, to realize the future, to see what this can be and what it will be."

Genting America Inc., a member of Genting Group, a Malaysian-based resort company, officially opened Resorts World New York City in October 2011 and is reported to receive more than 5 million annual visitors.

Proposed expansion:
The expansion plan includes expanding the casino floor to 350,000 square feet, meaning it will be one of the largest hotels globally, based on information provided by Resort World. It will also add 1,600 fresh hotel rooms to the initial 400 that officially opened in 2021 at nearby Hyatt Regency JFK Airport.

That's not all. It will feature an additional 350,000 square feet of entertainment and conference space, including a 7,000-seat stadium, 10-acre green space for the general public, a health center named after NBA champion Kenny "Jet" Smith and a sports academy.

In this regard, the expansion is likely to open 5,000 permanent union positions already in hotels and gaming this year, along with 5,000 construction jobs. However, this can only happen when and when they receive a license from the state of New York.

"Existing" Lacino, Junckers Empire City Casino and Resorts World are expected to receive two of the three licenses mentioned above, but they are not certain.

Waterway Park:
Another proposal, which is separate but also known to be related to the expansion proposal, was introduced by Resort World and is called "Acuduct Park." The proposal hinges on the "future integration" of horse racing at Belmont Park on Long Island. That would allow the state to begin the process of redeveloping the rest of the waterway area, which could be another $5 billion project, said Robert DeSalvio, president of Genting America East.

If the land is accessible, he said, he wants to build "a new 24/7 community to complement the existing area." This will include unspecified mass transit facilities connected to Manhattan and JFK, 50 acres of parks and 3,000 "worker accommodation."

In this regard, DeSalvio said, "We are proud to have grown with the Queens community for more than a decade. According to an official press release, when we stood here more than a decade ago to break ground at Resort World New York City, our vision extended well beyond the already ambitious original plan. Today, that vision could soon become a reality."    슬롯사이트 순위

However, before that can happen, you first need to get your certification. When it comes to ongoing competition, Resort World is facing fierce competition across five boroughs, including the Queens team, the Bronx and Brooklyn teams, and a handful of teams spread throughout midtown Manhattan. One of the latter is said to be backed by Jay-Z, who worked with Nas in a spectacular partnership that began in the mid-1990s and ended in 2005 with "I Decorate the War."
